Dear all ,
I wish to oxidise 2-methylcyanobenzene to 2-cyanobenzaldehyde . I
think,if i use selenium dioxide for this , there would not be any problem
in this oxidation, due to cyano- group.
I would like to have suggestions regarding this or any other worthwhile
method , but with good yield.
