Till date, i did not find any report about x-ray structure of peralkylated tert. buthyl calixarene or calixarene complexes with neutral guests like benzene or toluene. Complexes of tert. buthyl calixarene or calixarene with free OH groups are well described. Does also the peralkylated at all form isolable complexes with for instance benzene? If YES, is the cone- conformation retained? I am not limited to calixarenes, it may be also 5,6,7,8,... or peralkyl-resorcarenes .
Any notice would be very helpful to me.
Thank you very much in advance!
